Present Covid-19 Protocols @ CBI
For In-House Services and Programs
Effective July 7 th, 2022 (until further notice)
A. Masking Masking optional Strongly encourage use of masks in the sanctuary C. B. I. reserves the right to reinstate the mask mandate if necessary
B. Waiver and Release of Liability Form One-time approval and submission of this form is required
C. Vaccination Requirements Adults aged 18 and over: QR code showing at least 3 vaccinations is required to be submitted Teens aged 5-17: QR code showing at least 2 vaccinations is required to be submitted
D. Social Distancing Strongly encouraged, but not mandatory
E. Refreshments Desserts and coffee/tea and soft drinks will be served post services and CBI-sponsored programs
F. Pre-registration For both security and Covid-tracking purposes, pre-registration is strongly encouraged for all services and programs Waiver form and the QR code have to be submitted to the office prior to being able to pre-register The event pre-registration form will be open 2 days prior to an event.
If you plan to attend an in-house service or program at Congregation B’nai Israel, you must do the following:
1. Read, sign and submit the ONE-TIME Waiver
THIS IS DONE ONLY ONE TIME!! PLEASE DO THIS AS SOON AS YOU CAN.
This form can be accessed through the office if not through regular mailings.
Your choice of methods to submit the signed waiver along with proof of vaccination to the CBI Office.

IN-PERSON PROTOCOLS
1. PRE-REGISTER:
Only pre-registered attendees will be admitted to services/events
2. MASKS:
Worn at all times while inside our buildings unless otherwise instructed.
3. SANITIZE HANDS:
*Sanitizing stations are set up throughout our buildings.
4. USHERS:
Will assist you to your seats with social distancing implemented.
*Prayer books will be provided at your pews OR you can bring your own
*Please remain seated unless using the restroom
*Same Household may sit together
5. SINGING:
Permissible with masks on
6. BIMA:
For service leaders only
* All Honours & Readings – please conduct from your seats
* End of Services / Events – kindly leave the CBI building to socialize outside safely unless other provisions are provided.
