The B’Nai Israel Foundation has established the following type of funds to support, maintain, and grow our congregation and the Jewish community as a whole:
1. Facility Maintenace Fund – Provides capital funding toward major renovations and improvements to our Synagogue.
2. B’Nai Israel Memorial Fund – Provides a source of income to ensure the perpetual maintenance and care of our cemetery and various other family memorial items.
3. Guardians of Our Future Fund – Provides a source of income to support current and future Jewish programming for our community.
There are several ways of donating towards these funds, as examples below:
1. Direct Cash or Securities – A specified amount is donated directly to the Foundation in the form of cash, bonds, stocks or mutual funds.
2. Life Insurance Policy – A life insurance policy that names the Foundation as the owner and beneficiary of the policy.
3. A Bequest or Trust Fund – A gift is provided in a Will by the donor as part of estate, that will be distributed at the death of the donor.
4. An Edowment Fund – Designed for a specific cause for which the principle is restricted and the income from this fund is used as directed by the donor.
